Dr. Gretchel Hathaway
Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Franklin & Marshall College
Dr. Gretchel Hathaway is Franklin & Marshall College’s first vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion. Reporting to the President, she provides vision, leadership and guidance on a full spectrum of diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion matters, working collaboratively with the F&M community to build a more inclusive environment.
Dr. Hathaway previously was dean of diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer at Union College, where she led strategic plan diversity initiatives with its board of trustees, faculty and administrators. She worked at Union for 22 years, where she also served on the review board of all faculty tenure and promotion cases. She also supervised Union’s Office of Intercultural Affairs and Interfaith Department. Previously, she was Union’s director of community outreach and Americans with Disabilities Act compliance officer. She also taught in the Department of Sociology.
Her research interests include equity, and inclusivity in higher education, child physical and sexual abuse, and marital rape and spousal abuse. Before her arrival in Schenectady, she spent nine years as the director of the personal counseling center at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
She has presented programs on inclusion and bias, intercultural topics and Title IX programs at other institutions of higher education, including Swarthmore College, Colgate University and Skidmore College.
Gretchel is the parent of Stephen Tyson, Jr. Ph.D. (a 2007 F&M graduate and internationally known hip hop artist “Ellect”) Rachel Tyson (fundraiser and event planner for a non-profit). Gretchel earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Manhattanville College and her master’s degree in the same field from Yeshiva University. She holds a doctoral degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh.

Lee Westgate, MSW, MBA, LCSW-C (he/ him/ his) is an out transgender advocate with more than 15 years of professional experience in social work policy, practice, research, and education. He is a board approved clinical supervisor in the state of Maryland, has held numerous organizational leadership roles, and has served as an educational consultant to a variety of associations and organizational clientele. He has served as a medical social worker in the fields of oncology, critical care, as well as in integrated behavioral health settings. Mr. Westgate has participated in a CSWE-sponsored National Trauma Task Force workgroup that focused on the intersection of ethics and trauma-informed practice, and he was awarded an immersion fellowship through Boston University to study addiction and behavioral health. Mr. Westgate continues to serve as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland, School of Social Work and his scholarship includes integrated behavioral health, clinical work with LGBTQIA+ populations, working with individuals with chronic and life-threatening illness, healthcare policy, and health equity. As a faculty member, he has received numerous teaching awards and has been published in The Journal of Sociology & Social Welfare, The New Social Worker, The Journal of Employee Assistance, Infusion Magazine, Provider Magazine, and Social Work Today.

Bob Reilly

Bob Reilly
Vice President and Government Relations Officer, WellSpan Health
Robert Reilly serves as Vice President and Government Relations Officer for WellSpan Health - an integrated delivery health system that serves the communities of central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland - where he implements government relations and legislative affairs strategies across all systems of care.
Bob previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff to former U.S. Congressman Todd Platts, who served from 2000-2012, and U.S. Congressman Scott Perry from 2012-2018.
In these roles, he oversaw the Congressmen’s district offices and served as their liaison to state and local elected officials, the business community, and non-profit organizations to help address issues facing the citizens of the Congressional District.
Bob has received numerous awards for his government and community service in Central Pennsylvania. He was named to the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2023 Lobbyist Power List, was previously chosen as “Government Leader of the Year” by the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and “Appointed Official of the Year” by the York County Chamber of Commerce (now known as the York County Economic Alliance). He was also awarded the key to the Borough of Gettysburg for his service to that region. Bob is an active community volunteer and has held leadership roles with many community organizations, and currently serves on legislative committees with the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce and the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Reilly is a graduate of Lebanon (PA) High School and Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He lives in York County with his wife, Cassandra Storm.

Dr. Livingston was born and raised in the inner city of Harrisburg, PA. She always knew she wanted to become a physician. She expressed particular interest in Women’s Health at an early age. She started working as a candy striper at Community General Osteopathic Hospital at age 9.
Dr. Livingston received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Livingston completed a rigorous Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.
In 2006, she began practicing as an Ob/Gyn at UPMC Lititz. She is currently serving as the Ob/Gyn Department Chair. She is a member of the UPMC Lititz Board of Trustees. She is the highest volume female robotic surgeon in the county of Lancaster.
Dr. Livingston is a Founding Board Member of “Patients R Waiting,” a non-profit organization that is very dear to her. The mission of Patients R Waiting is to eliminate health disparities by increasing diversity in medicine. Patients R Waiting aims to 1) increase the pipeline of minority clinicians; 2) make the pipeline of minority clinicians less leaky; and 3) support minority clinicians in practice.
Dr. Livingston is a Co-Founder of the Diversifying Doulas Initiative which aims to improve maternal outcomes through doula support.
Dr. Livingston is a Co-Founder of FLOW (For the Love of Women). FLOW aims to eliminate menstrual inequity by providing free menstrual hygiene products to vulnerable women and people in Harrisburg and surrounding areas.
Dr. Livingston was elected to Governor Shapiro’s Advisory Commission on Women. She serves as the Chair of the Healthcare Subcommittee.
Dr. Livingston Co-Founded and Co-Chairs the UPMC Health Equity NOW Committee. The mission of UPMC Health Equity NOW is to decrease maternal morbidity and mortality in racially and ethnically diverse populations delivering in UPMC birthing hospitals.
She is most honored to be one of the founder and president of MOKA moms (Moms of Kids Advancing – mothers of color in medicine).
Dr. Livingston gains all her pride and joy as the wife of Ivan T. Anderson, her childhood friend and neighbor. Together, they are blessed to enjoy two daughters, Addison and Ainsley and twin boys, Ivan and Troy.

Melvin A. Frye Jr. is a school Social Worker/Home and School Visitor with Hempfield School District in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He served as an adjunct instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College – York and Lancaster Campuses for 15 years. For five years, Mr. Frye has provided group treatment to adult and juvenile sexual offenders and to men convicted of domestic violence-related offenses. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of sociology, education, deviance, criminal justice, and human sexuality. Mr. Frye received his BA from Franklin and Marshall College, his MSW from Temple University, M. Ed. from Widener University, Home and School Visitor certification from Temple University, and Principal Certification from Shippensburg University. He is currently a doctoral student at Widener University in Human Sexuality Education with a focus on Black masculinity. In addition, Mr. Frye is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Prior to working for the Hempfield School District, Mr. Frye worked for Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12; he was employed by both Juvenile and Adult Probation in York and Lancaster Counties for eight years.

Ali Mailen Perrotto is the President/CEO of the Sexual Assault Resource & Counseling Center (SARCC) of Lebanon & Schuylkill Counties. She holds Bachelor of Science in Social Science Economics and Philosophy, with a concentration in Women’s Studies from the University of Scranton and a master's degree in Community Psychology and Social Change from the Pennsylvania State University. She has worked as at local, state, and national agencies providing advocacy, information, and support around sexual violence victimization and prevention.

Ms. Yanosy’s career has integrated clinical work, education, and administration, resulting in expertise in individual and family therapy, program and curriculum development as well as program evaluation and replication. Ms. Yanosy currently teaches at the Fordham University School of Social Services and the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She served as the Founding Director of an international training and consultation organization serving over 350 organizations across the US and in 7 other countries, teaching human service providers to implement trauma-informed interventions. Most recently, Ms. Yanosy co-developed Creating Presence, an online training model for trauma responsive practice.
Ms. Yanosy has been a keynote and featured speaker on trauma and organizational culture and has published extensively on the implementation and impact of trauma responsive practice. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Cornell University and Smith College respectively, and has completed post graduate programs at New York University, Fordham University and Columbia Business School.

Dr. Rhim, the Founder and CEO of TD Rhim Consulting, LLC, is a fervent advocate for authentic leadership (AL), drawing from her extensive experience in leadership roles since 1990. Renowned for her impactful keynote speeches at prestigious institutions and her dedication to community service, Dr. Rhim, also known as Dr. Tee, emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and reflection in leadership. Her approach is backed by evidence-based research highlighting the critical need for authentic leadership. Dr. Rhim‘s commitment to creating a supportive environment encourages emerging leaders to enhance their skills. With a deep-rooted belief in servant leadership, she is a sought-after mentor, coach, and speaker, driven by a profound passion for doing what is right because it’s right. Dr. Rhim earned her Bachelors in Communication and Leadership, Duquesne University; her MBAin healthcare, Lebanon Valley College; and her PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, with a concentration in leadership and coaching, Walden University.
She is currently the Director of Operations for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Department at Lancaster General Health.
Additionally, Dr. Rhim is active in her community, serving on a number of community boards. She is also a proud veteran of the US Army.
