Jessica Purdy
Jessica Jaymes Purdy (she/her) is a dedicated LGBTQ+ rights activist, organizational leader, and advocate for equity, accessibility, and inclusion. Her work is rooted in justice, dignity, and community care. As Executive Partner of Culture and Operations at Lancaster County Chooses Love, she oversees organizational culture, policy, volunteer engagement, and the Inclusion Institute, where she leads trainings on LGBTQ+ cultural competency, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Jessica’s activism spans a wide range of interconnected issues. She is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ equality, including marriage equality and advancing trans rights, as well as body autonomy, human rights, environmental sustainability, Indigenous sovereignty, accessibility, and affordable housing access. She is also the Founder and CEO of FIC Human Resource Partners. In addition to her activism and other roles, she was the founder and first board president of Lancaster Pride Association and a co-founder of the Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition. Jessica has also previously served on the boards of the Keystone Business Alliance and YWCA Lancaster, and as a commissioner on the City of Lancaster Human Relations Commission.
