Karla Tolan is Manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at WellSpan Health. In this role, she applies her passion for creating cultures where team members feel they belong, by elevating diverse lived experiences and underrepresented voices through the strategic efforts of the organization’s Office of DEI.

Karla is recognized for her ability to develop and execute high-profile strategic communication plans to advance organizational priorities, and as a skilled project manager focused on leveraging individual expertise to achieve shared objectives. Karla earned a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from York College of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the same institution.
